Motivation, Passion!!
The videos required to analyze are not the first time I have seen them, but now I have found more meaning in the new education or, as Sir Ken Robinson's Learning Revolution says. Connecting with Douglas Thomas and Sir Ken Robinson both agree that we need to implement passion in our classroom with our children. Also, what caught my attention is that we must compare education with the agricultural model, creating a significant learning environment for our students to flourish. Dr. Dweck says that "intellectual skills could be cultivated." Sir Ken Robinson mentions that technology combined with the talents of teachers provides an opportunity to revolutionize education.
In the second, I liked that author talked about motivation. The author mentioned three elements that motivate people: autonomy, engagement, and purpose. COVA Approach also has these three elements. One more reason to implement COVA in our classroom. Let's allow our learners to have choice, ownership, and voice through authentic learning.
